There is real Serhou Guirassy hope for West Ham as a high profile Stuttgart trio speak out on his future ahead of January.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for a new striker in the January transfer window.
The Hammers have been linked with a plethora of forwards including Serhou Guirassy, Armando Broja, Hugo Ekitike and Akor Adams.
Regardless of Michail Antonio’s anticipated return in the coming weeks, fans feel West Ham simply must bring in a new top level striker next month.
It’s easy to see why. West Ham have a serious lack of quality in depth up front beyond Jarrod Bowen, who will not always be effective as the main striker and may be better suited to the right-hand side for some games.

Supporters feel Danny Ings should be one of the first to leave the club while Divin Mubama looks like he needs to go out on loan and strengthen up.
The good news is that there is some real encouragement coming out of Germany regarding one of Tim Steidten’s alleged prime targets.
There’s Guirassy hope for West Ham as a high profile Stuttgart trio speak out on his future.
There is real anxiety at Stuttgart – with whom West Ham already have an established line of communication – that 18-goal striker Guirassy will leave in January amid interest from West Ham and others.
But don’t take our word for it. Three prominent figures at the German club have suggested he could well depart when January rolls around.
Club captain Waldemar Anton was asked about Guirassy’s future by German outlet Stimme.

Hammers target holds all the power
And he joked the only way to stop Guirassy leaving might be an internal transfer ban.
“Yes (an internal transfer ban), yes, yes,” Anton said.
“I think he feels very, very comfortable here. That’s of course a huge point. If we play good games and score points, then he’s also very, very happy.
“The mood in the Stuttgart team is great. The goalscoring job at VfB is a lot of fun. He also knows very well that we will all be happy if he stays here.
He then added reluctantly: “In the end, Serhou decides what happens.”
The club’s sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has also admitted that the £17.5m release clause means Stuttgart don’t hold the power in January.

‘A question that will remain open’
“Clarity is always good,” Wohlgemuth said.
“But we don’t have that. We have emphasised often enough what an important role Serhou plays for VfB Stuttgart. But we have always said that it is a question that will remain open.”
And last but not least the West Ham target’s manager, Sebastian Hoeness, has refused to discuss the matter at length for fear of “encouraging more speculation” adding simply that he is “optimistic that Serhou will continue to play with us next year.”
Antonio turns 34 in March and is likely in his last season with West Ham.
All Premier League clubs have at least two proven top level strikers. Indeed most have three.
So if West Ham want to compete that needs to be the January priority.
Let’s hope Steidten can work his magic and bring Guirassy to the London Stadium to share the goalscoring burden and give Moyes a different option.
