A furious Ray Winstone has savaged Hammers manager David Moyes for ‘bottling’ West Ham’s cup chance at Liverpool.
West Ham’s players were feeling ill and fatigued ahead of the trip to face Liverpool in a wide open Carabao Cup quarter-final.
But it was the Hammers fans who were left sick and tired as they watched another drubbing on the road with Liverpool putting them to the sword 5-1.
As good as Liverpool were, West Ham were never at the races as they were torn to ribbons in scenes described as ‘criminal and embarrassing’ by Jamie Carragher.

Many supporters feel David Moyes waved the white flag at Anfield with his team selection and approach as he rested several key players.
And movie star Ray Winstone is among them.
The high profile West Ham fanatic posted a video as he watched the debacle which is being shared among fans on social media.
And in it a furious Winstone savages Moyes for throwing away the West Ham cup chance at Liverpool.
In the X-rated rant – which will strike a chord with the majority of his fellow West Ham fans, particularly the 6,000 who made the long trip to Merseyside days before Christmas with no trains home – Winstone says Moyes got it completely wrong.
‘You got it completely wrong’
“Just watching this, West Ham away to Liverpool in the old League Cup, Carabao Cup, whatever they f—–g call it now,” Winstone said.
“Unbelievable.
“We’ve just started to play well (in the last two games against Freiburg and Wolves) and then Mr Moyes – who I have great respect for and I really like – bottles it and puts a B side out against Liverpool who are top of the league.
“I’m f—–g speechless. It’s embarrassing. Embarrassing. I don’t expect to win at Anfield. But I expect to have a go, to have some bottle, to have a go at ’em. But they ain’t, bottle’s completely gone.
“And I must say David, you got it completely f—–g wrong. I’ve got the hump now.”
West Ham legend Tony Cottee attended the game at Anfield. And he made a shocking admission about what he did as he too slammed Moyes.
