West Ham stars have made a worrying complaint to David Moyes ahead of the Liverpool clash and it will concern fans.

West Ham go to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals in good form off the back of eight wins in their last 11 games.

But they don’t go into the game in good health it seems.

Anfield is a notoriously unhappy hunting ground for West Ham. More so than any other stadium the Hammers visit.

Despite being more than a match for Liverpool in the league game there back in September, West Ham still slipped to a 3-1 defeat.

Liverpool like West Ham have been enduring another hectic fixture schedule.

But it seems it is finally starting to take its toll on the Hammers.

Because West Ham stars have made a worrying complaint to David Moyes ahead of the Liverpool clash and it will concern fans.

According to a key source inside West Ham speaking to Claret and Hugh, the game against Jurgen Klopp’s Reds could be one too far for tired Hammers stars.

The source claims the number of critical games the club is having to play – with Moyes using the same core group of players in almost every game – has sparked West Ham’s stars to raise concerns of burnout to the manager.

“West Ham boss Moyes will have problems selecting his starting eleven for the match at Liverpool tomorrow after several Hammers players have complained of fatigue,” the report states.

Key stars run into the ground?

“Claret and Hugh has been told exclusively by a key source that the number of critical games the club is having to play has finally started to tell on the players who have made their position clear.”

Moyes has been very vocal on the fixture scheduling of late.

But he has said himself it is the price a team plays for being successful and going deep into competitions.

Should West Ham win at Liverpool that would add another two matches to the calendar for the semi-final.

But the Scot does not help himself as he has run certain players into the ground.

Even during games he rarely uses all his available substitutions and when he does they are usually well after the 75 minute.

Players going to the manager complaining of fatigue before a big game against an energetic Liverpool side does not bode well at all.
