West Ham United transfer target Martin Terrier posted an Instagram picture from inside the London Stadium during our win over Manchester United today.
West Ham beat Manchester United 2-0 at the London Stadium today, and Martin Terrier was in attendance.
Interestingly, the Hammers wanted to sign Terrier, 26, in the summer of 2022, but he remained with Rennes in the end.
With David Moyes keen to sign a new attacker with real pace in the January transfer window, the French forward would be a very useful addition indeed.
So the fact that he was at the London Stadium today will fill the West Ham supporters with real hope.
Was he just in attendance to see his old mate Nayef Aguerd though? Unfortunately, it seems like that was the case…

Martin Terrier watches West Ham game
The 26-year-old Rennes forward took to his official Instagram account to post a picture during his visit to the London Stadium today.
The Hammers beat Man United 2-0 today, and it was such a welcome result after the midweek shocker away at Liverpool.
So Terrier would surely have been impressed with what he saw, especially during the final 20 minutes of the match.
Terrier is good friends with Aguerd, having spent two years at Rennes with him. And he was clearly at the London Stadium to meet his old mate today:
I would absolutely love it if West Ham signed Martin Terrier either in January or the summer.
The Frenchman bagged 12 goals and five assists in 22 games for Rennes last season, and he racked up 21 goals and four assists in 37 Ligue 1 outings the campaign before that. He has struggled this season, with just one goal and one assist to his name in 15 games so far (Transfermarkt).
His quality is undeniable though, and he is a truly class act.
Jeunes Footeux have claimed that Rennes could demand as much as €50 million (£43 million) for Martin Terrier – probably too much money for West Ham to splashing out this winter.
That said, if the Hammers owners really want to make a big statement in January, the 26-year-old is exactly the kind of player they should be looking to sign.
