Vladimir Coufal has just opened up on the ‘horrible’ situation that West Ham United have been in this season.
The Hammers have been really poor this term, and have taken just 20 points from our opening 22 Premier League games.

West Ham boss David Moyes is under real pressure in his role at the London Stadium, although there have definitely been improvements in recent weeks.
However, we are still in real danger of getting relegated with just two points currently separating us from 18th placed Everton.

Vladimir Coufal opens up on West Ham struggles
The Hammers recent improvements have coincided with the Czech Republic international’s return to form.
The 30-year-old seems to be back to somewhere near his best.
And Coufal told WHUFC.com how West Ham’s struggles this season have been truly ‘horrible’ to experience:
“I think we have to climb from this relegation zone because one month ago it was horrible to check check the Premier League table for me, so that’s why I didn’t check the table maybe for months, as it was absolutely horrible to see West Ham in the relegation zone, for me. Now, we are climbing up and hopefully we will never stop till the end of the season and we will be as high as possible and we will be delivering the good performances and good results for the fans.”
I’ve got to give Coufal his due, I completely wrote him off as an elite level footballer.
However, the 30-year-old is beginning to prove me and plenty of other Hammers fans wrong in recent weeks.
West Ham, and Vladimir Coufal for that matter, still have a very long way to go if we are to hit the heights of the last couple of seasons again.
The results of our next four Premier League games will define our season. And hopefully after those matches, Coufal can look at the table with pride again.
