West Ham United need to hijack our old rivals Eintracht Frankfurt in their reported pursuit of Ellyes Skhiri.
That’s according to Frankfurter Rundschau who claim that the Bundesliga club are in talks to sign West Ham target Skhiri, with his current deal with Koln due to expire at the end of this season.

And now’s the time for Hammers boss David Moyes to get his own back on his old nemesis Eintracht Frankfurt by bringing Skhiri to the London Stadium…
West Ham need to hijack Eintracht Frankfurt’s move to sign Ellyes Skhiri
The Bundesliga side dumped the Hammers out of the Europa League at the semi-final stage last season and a fierce rivalry between the two clubs ensued after their fans mobbed the pitch after the second-leg clash out in Germany.
Now it’s time for West Ham to get our revenge by signing the 27-year-old soon-to-be free agent.
I believe that the Koln ace is exactly the kind of player who we need at West Ham.
Skhiri is an outstanding midfielder. He would strengthen the Hammers’ central midfield department considerably.
The 27-year-old is an absolute animal in midfield. He’s a hard worker and does not stop running.

The 52-capped Tunisia international covered more distance and made more tackles than any other player in Germany’s top flight last season according to the Bundesliga’s official website.
He has been described as ‘incredible and unreal’ by Koln’s official Twitter account.
Skhiri is a defensive midfielder by trade. He is incredibly versatile as well and can operate at centre-back and right-back.
Signing Ellyes Skhiri on a free transfer should be an absolute no-brainer for West Ham, and beating Eintracht Frankfurt to his signature would make the deal even sweeter!
