West Ham have been offered the chance to sign Cologne ace Ellyes Skhiri for just £12.8 million according to a report from BILD.

Central midfield is definitely an area where Hammers boss David Moyes needs to strengthen this summer.
Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Mark Noble are the Scot’s only options at the London Stadium at the moment.
West Ham do have Conor Coventry coming through the ranks, but at 21, he is probably too young to make an impact in the Premier League this season.
It seems as though the Hammers have been presented with a great opportunity to address that particular issue.

West Ham offered bargain Ellyes Skhiri deal
BILD claims that Cologne have offered the 26-year-old to the Hammers for just €15 million (£12.8 million).
And what an incredible signing the Tunisia international would be for West Ham.
The 26-year-old covered more distance and made more tackles than any other player in Germany’s top flight last season according to the Bundesliga’s official website.

The 35-capped Tunisia international is a defensive midfielder by trade. He is incredibly versatile as well and can operate at centre-back and right-back.
That kind off versatility makes the alleged £12.8 million fee for Skhiri even more of a bargain.
Standing at 6ft 1in tall, Skhiri is an absolute man-mountain. A powerhouse midfielder in every sense.

£12.8m is absolutely nothing relatively speaking. There is literally no reason why West Ham should not get this one wrapped up as soon as possible.
