It could be argued that Hammers boss David Moyes has been proved right already.
The 24-year-old struggled to prove himself during his time at the London Stadium. That was in spite of the fact that he scored a four-minute hat-trick on his debut for the under-23’s against Tottenham!
Unfortunately for Silva, however, he never really kicked on from that moment.

The 24-year-old was brought to the London Stadium from Vitoria Guimaraes in 2018 for around €4 million (£3.3 million) according to talkSPORT.
He just didn’t cut the mustard at senior level, however.
The Portuguese forward was moved on to Forest on deadline day for around £200,000 (Claret and Hugh).

Nottingham Forest have played five games where the Portuguese forward hasn’t even been included in the squad.
