West Ham want to sign Federico Gatti from Juventus in the summer transfer window.
According to Serie B News, Federico Gatti – a 24-year-old Juventus defender, is on the radar of West Ham as David Moyes finally looks to replace Craig Dawson.

Hammers boss Moyes desperately needs to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

Dawson left to join Wolves in the January transfer window whilst Angelo Ogbonna is set to turn 35 next month. Meanwhile, Kurt Zouma is a walking disaster from a fitness perspective and looks like he’s going to get injured in every game that he plays.
It seems as though Moyes has someone specific in mind to come in and bolster his centre-back department at the London Stadium…
West Ham target move for Juventus star Federico Gatti
Serie B News claims that Juventus are looking to sell Gatti for around €30 million (£26 million) in an effort to ease their financial woes.
And the Hammers are lining up a move to sign the Italy international this summer.
I think that Gatti would be a fine addition for West Ham. He is a typically tenacious tackling Italian defender and at just 24, he still has plenty of years left with which to improve even further still.

In 10 Serie A appearances for Juve this season, the Italian centre-back has averaged 1.4 interceptions, 3.4 clearances and 1.8 successful aerial duels (Who Scored).
He is a tenacious tackler, a great man marker and standing at 6ft 3in tall, he cuts an imposing physique.
I think that Federico Gatti would be a very good signing for West Ham, especially for only £26 million.
Whether the Hammers manage to win the race for his signature remains to be seen though.
