The West Ham United performance vs Bournemouth highlighted exactly why the fans have been so angry with David Moyes this season.
West Ham manager David Moyes has been under real pressure at the London Stadium since pretty much the start of the season.

The Hammers have been in a relegation scrap for what actually feels like all season long. I think we can all agree that we’re 95% safe now though after today’s thumping win over Bournemouth.

The performance today was arguably the best and most complete that the West Ham players have put in all season.
Why on earth couldn’t we have played like we did today from the first game of the campaign? The players were more intense in how they went about their business and we started on the front foot from the very first whistle.
And in my opinion, that is why we have been so frustrated all season long…
West Ham performance vs Bournemouth exactly why fans have been so angry with Moyes
The Scot was forced into changing up his setup after we went 2-0 down against Arsenal last weekend, and since then, everything has changed for the better.
We dominated Arsenal for the last hour of the game and then the Hammers were exceptional against Gent in midweek. Today, they put in a truly memorable performance against the Cherries.
With the players that we have, we really shouldn’t be anywhere near the bottom three. We are a top eight team all day long.
Moyes’s negative tactics, old-school setup and prehistoric mindset have really cost us this season in my opinion. West Ham have the players to rip teams apart, but they haven’t been able to impose themselves on games under Moyes this season.

However, the last three games have shown that we are more than good enough to setup on the font foot and try to win most matches that we play.
Whilst I think that the Scot needs to be moved on at the end of this season regardless of what happens over the next five weeks or so, credit where credit is due – he has proven a lot of his doubters wrong over the last two weeks.
The West Ham performance vs Bournemouth today was just a reminder for me of exactly why he has received so much criticism this season. The Scot really didn’t need to make things as hard as they’ve been.
If he realises that and learns from his mistakes, maybe he isn’t quite done with the Hammers just yet.
