The West Ham owners are big admirers of Burnley manager Vincent Kompany, with the future of David Moyes still up in the air.

Moyes, 59, is under intense pressure in his role at the London Stadium at the moment, with the Hammers still in real danger of getting relegated from the Premier League.

However, four points from our Premier League games against Fulham and Arsenal and a 5-2 aggregate win over Gent in the Europa Conference League has alleviated that pressure somewhat.
That isn’t to say that Moyes is bulletproof. In fact, it seems as though the West Ham owners could still be on the look-out for a new manager in the summer…
West Ham owners big fans of Vincent Kompany
The 37-year-old has already been named as someone on the Hammers’ shortlist to replace Moyes.
And now it seems as though West Ham are keeping an even closer eye on the former Manchester City star, according to TEAMtalk.
His former teammate Nedum Onuoha raved about him, describing him as ‘miles better than anyone else in the Championship’ and a ‘psycho’ when it comes to his team-talks (talkSPORT).

talkSPORT also describe the 37-year-old as a ‘superb’ manager. And they’re not wrong – he would be a sensational appointment for West Ham.
Kompany has Burnley playing the best football ever witnessed in the Championship, and that is no exaggeration.
The former Manchester City skipper is intense, an unbelievable motivator and an exceptional man-manager.
Vincent Kompany would be the dream appointment for West Ham this summer as far as I’m concerned. And I have no doubts that he would take us to a whole new level entirely.
