West Ham United have made contact with the agent of Malick Thiaw, and are ready to make a bid for the AC Milan centre-back.

Hammers boss David Moyes undoubtedly needs to add another top-class central defender to his ranks at the London Stadium, either in January or next summer.

And Thiaw is someone who has been linked as a potential signing for West Ham.
Now it seems like the Hammers are ready to ramp up their interest in signing the two-capped Germany international…
Malick Thiaw firmly on West Ham radar
The AC Milan defender is being chased by the Hammers, and Calcio Mercato claim that the East London outfit are prepared to make a £17 million bid for him.
Thiaw would be an unbelievably good signing for West Ham – he really is an elite young defender.
The German is a central defender by trade but he can also operate as a right-back or even in defensive midfield.

In seven Serie A outings for AC Milan this season, the German has averaged 1.1 tackles, 2.7 clearances and 1.7 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).
He has made 67.3 passes on average per match and has recorded an unbelievably impressive completion rate of 92.8% (Who Scored).
He really does have everything needed to succeed in the Premier League. Standing at 6ft 4in tall, he is aerially dominant and incredibly strong in the challenge. The 22-year-old possesses really impressive pace as well, especially when taking his size into account.
Malick Thiaw would take West Ham to another level as far as i’m concerned. And if the Hammers manage to pick him up for just £17 million, it will be an unbelievable bargain deal for us.
