West Ham are reportedly now likely to secure an exciting double deal for Leicester ace Harvey Barnes and Southampton star James Ward Prowse in the summer transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Harvey Barnes and James Ward-Prowse are likely to end up at West Ham in the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes will have plenty of money to spend this summer, with Declan Rice heavily linked with a lucrative move to Arsenal.

Barnes, 25, has been tipped to move to the London Stadium with Moyes keen to add more pace and power to his front-line.

Meanwhile, Ward-Prowse, 28, has been linked with joining West Ham since last summer – and most recently just last week.

Now it seems like both players are inching closer to a move to East London…

West Ham eyeing double summer transfer window swoop

Barnes and Ward-Prowse are now likely to end up as Hammers players by the time the transfer window has shut according to the Daily Mail.

West Ham losing Rice will obviously be a bitter pill for us to swallow. However, with the correct investment, there is no reason why we can’t become an even better team.

Moyes signing Barnes and Ward-Prowse would be a good start, but the Scot will still need more.

The addition of an out-and-out defensive midfielder will be a necessity – someone like Sofyan Amrabat or Romeo Lavia would be perfect.

With Europa League football on offer, the Hammers should be able to tempt some elite players into joining us this summer.

The additions of the Leicester and Southampton stars should only be the start for West Ham in the summer transfer window.

The Guardian reckon Leicester want £40 million for the 25-year-old winger whilst football journalist Paul Brown claimed via Give Me Sport that Southampton are demanding the same fee for the 28-`year-old midfielder. So there should be plenty of money left over in Moyes’s kitty.
