West Ham reportedly now in pole position to sign absolutely rapid forward Sheraldo Becker
Christian Falk reckons that the Hammers are leading the race to sign the Union Berlin forward.
The Bundesliga side are allegedly demanding around £20 million (£17 million) for Becker.
That would represent very good value for West Ham, especially considering the fact that he has exactly what we lack in the final third – blistering pace.

Give Me Sport recently described the Union Berlin ace as ‘lightening quick’. He can play on either wing, in the number 10 position or even as an auxiliary striker.
Becker has a really impressive attacking output to match his rapid speed as well.
He bagged 12 goals and 10 assists in 48 games for Union Berlin this season (Transfermarkt).
If West Ham sign Sheraldo Becker for £17 million, I think it will be very good business for the club.
