Declan Rice made an absolutely huge claim about David Moyes after West Ham lifted the Europa Conference League trophy last night.
West Ham were successful against Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final last night, and Declan Rice, David Moyes and co celebrated with the fans long into the night out in Prague.

Hammers boss Moyes would have been delighted with the win. The Conference League was his first major trophy during his 25 years in football management.

What an achievement from the Scot – it was only a couple of months ago when he was on the brink of the sack at the London Stadium.
The 60-year-old deserves great credit for the way that he has managed to turn things around in East London, and the win last night was the cherry on the cake for the Scot.
Whatever you think about Moyes, he has to go down as a West Ham legend now. Rice certainly thinks so, and the skipper made a massive claim about the gaffer last night…
Declan Rice makes incredible David Moyes claim after Europa Conference League win
The 24-year-old addressed the media after the 2-1 win over Fiorentina out in Prague last night, and absolutely raved about his manager (BT Sport, Wednesday June 7th, 10:35pm):

“There have been times this year where he’s been tested, and a lot of the fanbase wanted him out. But you know what, he came in and saved us, then came back and saved us again. Then he got us Europa two years in a row and now he’s won this tonight. He’s got to be up there as West Ham’s best ever manager now, it has to be said.”
That is quite the claim from Dec.
Let’s be honest here, John Lyall is in another league to Moyes, taking nothing away from the Scot of course. Lyall won two FA Cups during his time at the club and oversaw some tremendous campaigns at Upton Park.
That said, I will be forever grateful to Moyes. He led West Ham to the first major trophy I have ever seen in my lifetime.
I’m certainly not a fan of the football that the Scot deploys but how can I, or anyone else, criticise him after what he gave us all last night?
Declan Rice raved about David Moyes after the game and he’s right – he is now a West Ham legend. Whether he will go down as our greatest ever manager is debatable though.
