West Ham handed Lucas Paqueta boost ahead of Newcastle
The Brazilian has been out with an ankle problem for the past two weeks, after being on the receiving end of an innocuous challenge from Aaron Wan-Bissaka during training.
It was such a killer blow for him and West Ham at the time, after he had finally rediscovered his best form.
However, the good news is that Paqueta should now be back in time for our clash with Newcastle United.
Paqueta has taken to his Instagram account, and posted a picture showing him back in training, six days ahead of our showdown with Newcastle at the London Stadium.
The Brazilian accompanied the picture with the caption, ‘De volta, Glória a Deus’ which translates to English as ‘Back at it, Glory to God’.
Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes liked Paqueta’s Instagram post and responded with two love heart emojis.
Guimaraes and Paqueta are best friends, so both will be relishing the face-off against one another at the London Stadium.

West Ham drew 1-1 with Newcastle at St James’ Park in February 2023.
Paqueta scored the equaliser for the Hammers that day, and took to social media after the match.
The West Ham star tagged his friend Bruno alongside a picture of him celebrating in front of the Newcastle fans.
And Real Madrid superstar Vini Jnr responded with love heart emojis.
Hopefully something similar happens at the London Stadium when West Ham play host to Newcastle on March 10th.
