West Ham fans are delighted after hearing the news that Vladimir Coufal has pulled out of the Czech Republic squad due to a groin niggle.

The 29-year-old Hammers right-back is an absolute hero at West Ham and is idolised by the London Stadium faithful.
Coufal joined West Ham from Slavia Prague for just £5.4 million in October last year (BBC). And what a signing he has proven to be from David Moyes.
The Czech Republic international wears his heart on his sleeve and gives 110 per cent every time he takes to the pitch.
He is a tenacious tackler and a brilliant man marker. He’s not bad going forward either – Coufal has bagged eight assists in 44 games for the Hammers.
The 29-year-old had a rare off day against Brentford on Sunday, however. That display makes some kind of sense now after the news broke yesterday that Coufal will not represent his country during the international break.
That’s the correct and proper thing to do, especially after just signing a new three-year deal with West Ham! Club should always come before country…although it’s not always that way!

The former Slavia Prague ace will now be given a much needed 11-day rest.
That is exactly what he needed after a non-stop season for West Ham last year followed by an intense EURO 2020 campaign.
