West Ham insider has made an interesting claim about GSBOUT protest

West Ham insider Sean Whetstone who writes for Claret and Hugh has made an interesting claim about the GSBOUT protest that took place yesterday before the match.

The protest was organised by well-known anti-board group Hammers United.

It is claimed by Hammers United that it was a peaceful gathering of around 400 people.

It seems as though there are people who are disputing those figures, however.

And it’s no surprise who is leading the charge…

Sean Whetstone took to Twitter last night to dispute the fact that there were 400 protestors. Apparently the turnout was closer to half that amount…

We will need actually know the complete truth.

What is important, however, is having the right to protest if you wish to do so. Let’s keep those protests away from the games, however. The players thrive off of the fans and as things stand, the club is in a very strong place.

Things have gone really well for West Ham on the pitch over the past year or so.

Many Hammers fans are still unhappy at the running of the club. David Sullivan and David Gold are far from popular at the London Stadium.

Without David Moyes, we would be in real trouble now, there is no doubting that.

The Scot has totally transformed the culture at the London Stadium and the mentality of the players.

Now all we need is for the owners to sufficiently back the manager.

Whether that happens consistently or not over the next few years remains to be seen though.
