The Hammers were very poor against the Bees today. Every team has off days and this was clearly one of ours.
David Moyes’s men did push on in the second-half and equalised through a brilliant Jarrod Bowen strike.
It wasn’t enough in the end though after Brentford scored deep into injury time to snatch all three points.
One bright spark in particular for West Ham was the performance of Jarrod Bowen.
The 24-year-old did not stop running down the right-hand flank. He put his usual shift in but showed real quality as well with the fantastic technique he used to bring West Ham back level.
We really are very lucky to have Bowen at the London Stadium.

Bowen has been a standout performer for the Hammers so far this season, despite not having found the back of the net before today.
It was great to see him rewarded for his efforts with a goal against Brentford this afternoon.
The £20 million that the Hammers paid Hull City (BBC) for his services 21 months ago now looks like an absolute steal.
