The Athletic claims that the former Slavia Prague defender has put pen to paper on a new contract at the London Stadium – one that now will expire in the summer of 2024.
The 29-year-old joined the Hammers from Slavia Prague for just £5.4 million in October last year (BBC).

David Moyes brought him to the London Stadium for a bargain fee and what an incredible signing that now seems.
Coufal has been a truly brilliant addition to Moyes’s ranks.
He is a huge fan favourite at the London Stadium and it is little wonder why what with his commitment, die-hard passion and win at all costs mentality.

It could be argued that the 29-year-old is the best right-back in the Premier League. He is certainly in the top three or four.
Not bad for £5.4 million eh?

Coufal, alongside his countryman Tomas Soucek, has brought a winning mentality to the club that we haven’t really had in a long time.
So the fact that West Ham have signed him up for another three years really is huge news.
