“The words I am hearing from the sports scientists, he’s good to go.”

That really is great to hear.

Antonio has been in absolutely sensational form for West Ham so far this season.

The powerful front-man has really struggled with injuries in the past. His hamstrings have really hindered his development, but he has been injury free since late April/early May.

Commentator shares what he’s heard about Michail Antonio’s hamstrings

Darke’s comments live on air tonight will be music to the Hammers fans’ ears.

That doesn’t mean that Antonio won’t break down with a hamstring problem at some point this season, of course it doesn’t.

He certainly does seem to be more robust from a fitness perspective this season, however.

Earlier on this term, Antonio highlighted how he has improved his diet and the way that he goes about his life off the pitch.

And he’s clearly reaping the rewards for that now.

Antonio has been on fire this season:

The sky’s the limit for Micky. If he stays fit, he can achieve anything he wants…and that’s an exciting though for not only him but the for the West Ham fans as well.
