West Ham United fans might be concerned about the Czech Republic manager’s comments on Vladimir Coufal.
The West Ham ace has not played since February 25th – our 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium.

Vladimir Coufal had just started to rediscover his best form for West Ham United before succumbing to a heel problem.

That is a really tricky injury to deal with and according to Bupa’s official website, it can take up to 6-12 months to heal.
However, it seems as though the former Slavia Prague ace is set to return to action later this week…
West Ham ace Vladimir Coufal set for a return to action for Czech Republic
Coufal’s country take on Poland on Friday in a EURO 2024 qualifier.
Czech Republic boss Jaroslav Šilhavý has told iDNES.cz that Coufal is doing everything he can to be ready to take on Poland on Friday:

“Vlaďs had health problems with his heel, but at the moment he is doing everything to be ready for Friday. Our side is in daily contact with West Ham, we exchange information and we believe that Vlad will be ready for the match against Poland on Friday.”
Those comments will be a big concern for the West Ham fans.
Surely if the 30-year-old hasn’t been unable to play for us since February 25th, he shouldn’t be representing his country during the international break.
David Moyes will surely not be happy about the situation one little bit.
All that we can hope is that if Coufal does play, he emerges from the game unscathed and returns to East London next week in fine fettle physically.
