West Ham door could still be open after fresh claim made about Nikola Vlasic

Torino will reportedly try to sign Nikola Vlasic on the cheap from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to Toro.it who claim that the Italian side are struggling to afford the £13 million option they have to sign the 25-year-old from West Ham.

And as a result, Torino want a discount on that price or sign the Hammers owned star on loan for another season.

The Hammers signed the Croatian international from CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2021 for a total of £34.5 million, including add-ons, (BBC).

David Moyes failed to get the best out of Vlasic though, and never played him in his correct position

And the Croatian is allegedly desperate to leave West Ham on a permanent deal at the end of this season. But will he be plying his trade with Torino again next season?

Torino trying to sign Nikola Vlasic from West Ham on the cheap

Toro.it reckon that the Serie A side are trying to bargain with the Hammers to get the 25-year-old signed up on a cheap deal, rather than the £13 million option they have to sign him in the summer.

We should just tell them where to go.

If Moyes actually used Vlasic correctly, he could be a real weapon for us.

So of Torino are unable to pay £13 million for his signature, we should bring him back to the London Stadium and actually try to get the best out of him.

Vlasic is a really intelligent, technically gifted player who needs to operate in the number 10 position, or as a number 8 at the very least.

Moyes surely must be kicking himself at the fact that he didn’t get the best out of the ex-CSKA Moscow ace.

So if Torino are playing hardball, West Ham should just bring Nikola Vlasic back.
