West Ham United under-18s beat Derby County in the Premier League Cup this afternoon, and one player scored an absolute worldie for us.
Kevin Keen has a sensationally talented group of players amongst his ranks in the West Ham under-18s.
The Hammers under-18s are performing well this season, and are currently sitting in fourth spot in the table, having taken 13 points from our opening six games.
However, attention turned to the Premier League Cup today.
Dan Rigge has been a standout performer for us this term.

West Ham allegedly beat SIX clubs in the race to tie down Dan Rigge to a new contract, and that now looks like a real coup for the club.
Before today’s game, he had bagged three goals and one assist in five games so far, and he added to that tally today…
West Ham have unreal talent as 17-year-old scores wonder goal for the under-18s
Josh Ajala levelled the scores before Rigge put a truly special stamp on the game.
The teenager secured a 2-1 win for West Ham against Derby in the Premier League Cup with an absolute wonder goal.
You can watch it below via the club’s official Twitter account:
The Hammers signed Rigge from Manchester City back in the summer of 2022, and allegedly beat eight clubs in the race for the talented teen’s signature.
He can play on either wing or in the number 10 position, and is incredibly technically gifted, as you can see from his strike above.
Rigge already looks like an unbelievable player in the making, and as long as he continues to work hard both on and off the pitch, he’ll have a fantastic career in the game.
The goal that he scored today proves just how much ability he has, and it will be really interesting to keep a close eye on his development throughout the course of the season. I’m sure David Moyes will be watching him closely as well.
The sky is the limit for Rigge and I reckon he’ll go on to be an absolute star. Let’s just hope that he does exactly that, but in a claret and blue shirt!
