The 23-year-old has fallen well down the pecking order under Hammers boss David Moyes over the past year or so, and especially since March after his horrendous performance during our 4-0 defeat away to Brighton.

A recent report suggested that Johnson may be handed one more chance to salvage his West Ham career.
Time is clearly running out for the Hammers academy graduate though. Or is it just the case that he is unhappy with the terms being offered to him?
Ben Johnson makes West Ham decision
The 23-year-old is unhappy with the terms being offered to him on a new deal by the Hammers according to C&H.
And the 23-year-old is attracting interest from Premier League side Everton. He will be out of contract at the London Stadium next summer, so will be able to leave on a free transfer.

Johnson has made 88 appearances for West Ham, with 55 of those coming in the Premier League (Transfermarkt).
The young full-back burst onto the scene at West Ham four years ago but unfortunately for him, he has regressed badly after a promising start to his career.
His positional awareness and concentration levels are nowhere near good enough for the Premier League.
And if Ben Johnson does leave West Ham next summer, I really don’t think it will be a great loss.
