The Crysencio Summerville to West Ham United saga is apparently close to reaching a conclusion.
I must say, I haven’t been this excited about a West Ham signing for quite some time now.
Crysencio Summerville is an exceptionally gifted footballer and he is close to becoming a Hammers player, after travelling down to London to undergo his medical.
The left winger possesses explosive pace and has real end product – something we’ve been crying out for on the left hand flank for quite some time now.
Summerville bagged an impressive 21 goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances for Leeds United last season, and if he could replicate anything like that at the London Stadium he’d be well worth the money.
On paper, he is the absolute perfect signing for the Hammers, and Julen Lopetegui, Tim Steidten and the board deserve huge credit for getting a deal for him done.
As excited as everyone already is about the imminent deal to bring Summerville to the London Stadium, things could be about to get even better for West Ham.
A new claim has just come to light about a specific detail of the transfer of the former Feyenoord ace to West Ham.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the fee that West Ham are paying for Summerville could be as little as £20 million, including add-ons.
It was initially believed that we were paying Leeds around £25 million plus add-ons!
If true, this could be an absolute game-changer for the Hammers.
Firstly, what a sensational deal it would be for West Ham – £20 million for a player with the Dutchman’s quality would represent incredible value.
And secondly, if we manage to pick him up for that kind of fee, it will mean that Lopetegui has more funds to spend elsewhere.
Basically, it’s just good news all round for the Hammers.
