Tomas Soucek has insisted that he is happy at West Ham, in spite of having the opposite feelings only last year.
Back in the summer of 2022, Tomas Soucek allegedly wanted to leave West Ham United after failing to get a bumper new contract according to The Daily Mail.

West Ham signed the 28-year-old from Slavia Prague originally on loan in January 2020 before making his move to the London Stadium a permanent one five months later for around £15 million (Daily Mail).

The Hammers midfielder made a huge impact for the club during his first 18 months at the club. However, his form has really nose-dived over the past year or so.
David Moyes has dropped him from the team occasionally as a result, but it seems as though Soucek is still more than happy at the club…
Tomas Soucek delivers verdict on West Ham future
The 28-year-old is currently away on international duty with the Czech Republic.
And when speaking to iDNEZ.cz, Soucek insisted that he is satisfied with his role at West Ham at this moment in time:

“The fact that I did not play two or three games at West Ham in the Premier League does not mean that I would lose my place in the team. We play cups and a lot of matches, so my workload is, I would say, maximum. I am satisfied and I hope it will continue anyway.”
Tomas Soucek might well be happy with his role at the London Stadium but in my view, Moyes should be looking to move him on from West Ham in the summer.
The 28-year-old is nowhere near good enough to be playing Premier League football.
His passing is undoubtedly the worst out of any central midfielder in the top-flight and despite his aerial strength, he is a massive weak-link for the Hammers.
It will be interesting to see whether he is offered a new deal in the summer or if Moyes decides to send him on his way.
