The Holy Trinity for David Moyes: West Ham allegedly eyeing sensational triple attacker swoop

West Ham manager David Moyes has a seriously exciting plan up his sleeve this summer with a triple attacker swoop lined up.

That’s according to a report from 90Min who claim that Moyes has backed away from a deal to sign Villarreal ace Arnaut Danjuma and instead wants to sign Keane Lewis-Potter, Armando Broja and Jesse Lingard.

This could be one seriously exciting summer transfer window ahead for the Hammers.

Moyes desperately needs to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium before the start of the new 2022/23 season.

Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen in particular need more top-class players to come in and push them all the way next season.

If West Ham are to achieve a successful 2022/23 season on all fronts, Moyes has to make a big splash in the transfer market this summer.

And it seems as though that’s exactly what the Scot plans to do…

West Ham line up exciting triple attacker swoop

According to a report from 90Min, Hammers boss David Moyes has told the club’s owners that he wants to sign attacking trio Keane Lewis-Potter, Armando Broja and Jesse Lingard this summer.

Lingard is available on a free transfer from today whilst Broja and Lewis-Potter could cost around £30 million (The Sun) and £20 million (Daily Mail) respectively.

Meanwhile, it was being reported that Arnaut Danjuma would cost at least £38 million this summer.

So when you look at it like that, signing the three players that Moyes wants for a total of just £12 million more than what the Dutchman would cost will represent far better value for West Ham.

Broja should be the Hammers’ absolute number one transfer target. The 20-year-old is an absolutely sensational young player.

The Albanian has proven that he is a striker who is well capable of succeeding at the very highest level.

The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja bagged nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton last term (Transfermarkt).

It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.

Meanwhile, Lewis-Potter would be a hugely exciting addition for West Ham as well.

The 21-year-old operates mostly as a left or right winger but he can also play through the middle as a centre-forward.

He was on fire in League One for Hull in the 2020/21 season, bagging 13 goals and six assists in 43 league games (Transfermarkt).

And the youngster bagged 12 goals and four assists in 46 games last term (Transfermarkt).

Lewis-Potter is a real live-wire, has impressive pace and is a very good finisher. In many ways, he is similar to his old teammate Jarrod Bowen.

And finally, Lingard. We all know what the 29-year-old would add to the West Ham team.

If Moyes manages to sign those three players it would be a really exciting triple attacker swoop for West Ham.

And the Hammers fans would forget about Arnaut Danjuma very quickly if the three players mentioned above rock up at the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
