West Ham faltered while Burnley, Wolves and Nottingham Forest picked up crucial points on Matchday 21 in the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest picked up a 2-1 win against West Ham at the London Stadium, further adding to Nuno Espirito Santo’s woes.
Imagine you are Nuno – What is the FIRST thing you are doing to save your job?
A day later, Wolves earned a 1-1 draw against Everton away from home while Burnley held Manchester United to a 2-2 draw at Turf Moor.
After those results, the Hammers are in 18th place and seven points adrift of safety.
West Ham predicted to finish in 18th in the Premier League
Opta’s Supercomputer crunched the numbers after the recent run of games, predicting where teams will be finishing in the Premier League.
They do not expect West Ham to avoid relegation and see them finishing in 18th place with 30 points.
This is shocking! 😰 Relegation is going to be dire for West Ham…
What would YOU do to avoid this mess?
West Ham have been handed only a 12 per cent chance of finishing 17th or higher, despite nearly half the season still left to play.
Nottingham Forest are predicted to finish in 17th and a colossal 10 points clear of the London Stadium outfit.
This would mean that the Irons’ fate will be sealed by the 35th gameweek, with no late twist in the relegation battle.

Will Nuno Espirito Santo be the West Ham manager until May?
After the loss against Wolves, there seemed to be an inquest regarding Nuno’s future at West Ham.
Reports claimed that a defeat to Nottingham Forest would have ended Nuno’s stint at the London Stadium, but he still remains in his job.
However, pressure is still on the Portuguese to turn things around, and the club have backed him with two new signings in January.
Pablo and Taty Castellanos have joined for a combined £47million and a centre-back is also expected to join in the coming weeks.
If Nuno still cannot reduce the deficit between the Hammers and 17th place, then come mid-February or early March, the hierarchy may decide it is time for another change.
That would give the new manager two-and-a-half to three months to have an impact on the team and aim to provide a great escape.
