Nuno Espirito Santo may soon be out of a job as he appears on the verge of being sacked by West Ham.

The Hammers’ poor run of form has found them in 18th place, and their 3-0 defeat to Wolves has only made things worse for the Portuguese.

Imagine if Nuno were to be sacked…😮

West Ham are eyeing replacements and could move for the candidate who gives them the best chance of avoiding relegation.

Nuno Espirito Santo could be sacked post Nottingham Forest game

According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Nuno is on the cusp of a London Stadium exit.

The Wolves defeat has amplified pressure on him as that was the bottom-placed Premier League club’s first league win of the season.

Despite assurances that Nuno was not in danger of the sack at West Ham, things appear to have changed now.

It’s been claimed that the game against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night could be his last one in charge of the club.

A loss against Sean Dyche’s men could prove to be the straw that broke the camel’s back, especially if the Irons are to suffer defeat, as the gap between the two teams would then be up to seven points.

Will Nuno’s sack affect the January transfer window plans for West Ham?

The owners will now be very careful about what their plans are in the January transfer window.

Nuno wants certain players at West Ham and expects the board to back him, but the results are showing that they have very little reason to do so.

Pablo has already joined and Taty Castellanos appears to be on the verge of a move, but apart from that, other positions are being considered, too.

It is possible that whoever replaces Nuno may not rate Castellanos and would want that money spent elsewhere.

The recent development surrounding the manager’s potential sack may see David Sullivan pulling the plug on that deal for the time being.

It could also have an impact on how much money is there to be spent, as Nuno and his staff would require compensation if they are to part ways with the club in the coming days.
