Seriously concerning video emerges from West Ham on eve of crucial Fulham clash and it has fans fearful

A seriously concerning video has emerged from West Ham on the eve of the crucial Fulham clash and it has fans very fearful indeed.

The blame game has been in full swing at West Ham in recent weeks with most of it being laid at the door of David Moyes.

The 5-1 thumping at home to Newcastle only served to intensify matters. And it came against the backdrop of an unconvincing – but obviously welcome – win over Southampton at the weekend as well as claims of discontent within the dressing room.

Moyes, as manager, has to take the lion’s share of the responsibility for performances. But, as rightly pointed out by the likes of Jamie Redknapp, the Newcastle performance was on the players not the manager.

Attentions now turn to Fulham and – in Declan Rice’s words ‘putting things right’.

West Ham must move on quickly from the horror show because Fulham is a game they should be looking to win.

The Cottagers will be without star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and manager Marco Silva.

They are in no man’s land in the middle of the Premier League with a European spot now extremely unlikely given the loss of their main goalscorer.

Fulham have also lost their last four games in all competitions heading into the match.

So make no mistake this is a huge chance for the Hammers to pick up only their second away win of the league season.

We’ve heard from the likes of Declan Rice and Aaron Cresswell about the atmosphere, togetherness and great attitude in the West Ham camp since the Newcastle thumping.

They and manager Moyes paint a picture of a hard-working, determined group desperate to turn things around.

But a seriously concerning video has emerged from West Ham on the eve of the crucial Fulham clash and it has fans fearful.

If West Ham supporters were unconvinced by the soundbites coming from Rice, Cresswell and Moyes, then there was little to change their mind when the Hammers posted video from pre-Fulham training on social media.

Posted on West Ham’s official Twitter account, the video was captioned ‘Final session before Fulham.”

And supporters were all saying the same thing after watching the footage.

The lack of intensity on show has fans seriously concerned.

It may only be a short clip. But fans think they have seen enough to suggest there is a distinct lack of motivation and comraderie in the camp.

It’s true there is also not a smile in sight. But then after Wednesday’s debacle had the players been laughing and joking, people may have criticised that too.

Let’s hope the lack of intensity on display is not mirrored in the performance on the pitch yet again.

I guess we’ll find out later today.
