The brilliant 26-year-old Hammers winger has really come into his own this season.

Much credit must go to David Moyes for bedding him into the team and the Premier League slowly.

But Benrahma deserves a lot of praise as well for working hard and earning his place in the West Ham side.

It seems as though Benny is a really nice person off the pitch as well. And that is just as important as what he does on the pitch.

Said Benrahma embraces his mum after West Ham vs Liverpool

The Algeria international is obviously a very down to earth young man.

His mother has clearly played a very important role in his life, even more so after his father passed away at the start of last year.

And Benrahma’s embrace with his mother after West Ham beat Liverpool yesterday really was incredibly heart-warming to witness:

Great to see eh.

Benrahma is a very grounded human being and that will serve him well as he strives to get better.

We have a real player on our hands here and it would surprise nobody if Benny goes on to rack up double figure goals AND assists this season.
