A revelation over lost West Ham points will leave David Moyes and fans feeling pig sick following the win over Spurs.

West Ham’s 2-1 comeback victory over Tottenham Hotspur made it six games unbeaten in all competitions.

Five of those have been wins and the Hammers are now within just three points of fifth-placed Spurs.

That will be rewarded with a Champions League place this season.

So West Ham very much have everything to play for in the Premier League as well as the Europa League and Carabao Cup.

Indeed this is now officially West Ham’s best ever points return after 15 games of a Premier League season.

But believe it or not West Ham supporters – things could be even better than most could ever dream.

Because a revelation over lost West Ham points will leave David Moyes and fans pig sick.

The draw with Crystal Palace last weekend was frustrating for the Hammers because it was another game they could and should have won.

But it was two points dropped.

And during coverage of West Ham’s win at Spurs, Amazon Prime TV revealed that West Ham have dropped a whopping TWELVE points from winning positions so far this season – among the most in the division. As laid out in detail on Transfermarkt.

That’s a big number after just 15 games.

Without those precious 12 lost points guess where West Ham would be right now?

Only joint top of the table with Arsenal!

Of course it’s the nature of the game that teams will lose or draw from winning positions.

But even if the Hammers held on to seven of those 12 points they would be sitting in the top four approaching the halfway stage of the campaign.

Remarkable to think isn’t it?

Perhaps Giorgio Chiellini had a point after all with his astonishing claim about West Ham this week.

Meanwhile West Ham’s win over Spurs made more unfortunate Premier League history for their bitter rivals.
