Pioneering agent Jen Mendelewitsch, who brought Mohammed Kudus to West Ham, has savaged Joey Barton over controversial comments.
West Ham’s technical director Tim Steidten is widely regarded to have done a remarkable job in his first transfer window at the club.
And his crowning achievement was getting Ghana star boy Mohammed Kudus to join West Ham amid fierce competition.
That achievement looks even greater with every passing week as Kudus shines for the Hammers.

Agent who brought Kudus to West Ham savages Barton
But the fact is the move simply would not have happened without one particular pioneering female football agent.
Jennifer Mendelewitsch is the French agent of Kudus who helped broker his move to West Ham.
Mendelewitsch runs the Supernova agency and stated as far back as May that her client would be leaving Ajax this summer.
As a role model for women in sport and football – much like West Ham vice-chair Karren Brady – Mendelewitsch speaks out on things she feels undermines progress in that area.

Controversial comments spark response
She publicly called out ITK Fabrizio Romano after he ignored her when reporting news of Kudus’ move to West Ham.
Now agent Mendelewitsch who brought Kudus to West Ham has savaged Joey Barton over controversial comments he has made.
Barton, no stranger to controversy throughout his playing and managerial career, has painted himself as something of a philosopher in recent years.
But his opinions on women commentating on men’s football prompted a response from Mendelewitsch.

‘Help me through this difficult day’
“Stand by everything I’ve said on women commenting and co-comms on the men’s football,” Barton said on X.
“Like me talking about knitting or netball. Way out of my comfort zone.
“Some of the men are bad enough! We have gone too far. You cannot watch a game now without hearing the nonsense. Any man who says otherwise is an absolute f–t parcel.”
Mendelewitsch responded directly to Barton’s post labelling his views out of date.
“(It’s) 7/12/2023 Women = Knitting,” Mendelewitsch said on X alongside a facepalm emoji.
“Please help me going through this difficult day.”
