West Ham United are lining up an exciting move to sign Argentinian forward Gianluca Prestianni in the summer transfer window.

According to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb, West Ham are in the picture to sign the 17-year-old winger from Vélez Sarsfield.

Gianluca Prestianni has a $12 million (£10 million) release clause inserted into this current contract and West Ham United manager David Moyes will allegedly face competition from the likes of Benfica, Fiorentina, AC Milan, Napoli and Sevilla for his signature.

What an incredibly exciting addition this would be for the Hammers, if Moyes does indeed manage to bring the talented teenager to the London Stadium.

And it seems as though the East London outfit are well in the race for Prestianni’s signature ahead of the summer transfer window…

West Ham eyeing exciting Gianluca Prestianni swoop

According to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb, the Hammers are battling it out with a handful of European clubs for the South American teen’s signature this summer.

Prestianni is very highly rated in the game, and can operate on either wing.

He already has 10 senior appearances for Vélez Sarsfield to his name and has bagged one goal (Transfermarkt).

The wonderkid has attracted attention from Real Madrid and Barcelona since the turn of the year (The Sun), so he clearly has something very special about him.

£10 million is obviously a lot of money to be paying for a teenager – especially one who would be moving to the Premier League from an entirely different continent.

Having said that, sometimes it’s worth the risk, and in my view, Gianluca Prestianni could end up being an absolute steal for West Ham.

Only time will tell as to whether we’re able to win the race for his signature though.
