West Ham transfer plan ruined as Axel Disasi wants to join Manchester United
L’Equipe reckon that the Monaco star has a move to Man United on his radar this summer.
Missing out on his signature to the Red Devils would be a big shame – the Monaco defender would be an exceptional addition for West Ham.
He was part of Didier Deschamps’ France World Cup squad, and impressed for Les Bleus out in Qatar.
Disasi is an absolute powerhouse of a centre-back, and he can play as a right-back as well.
The Frenchman possesses blistering pace, has composure in possession and is extremely strong both in the air and on the ground in the tackle.
In 38 Ligue 1 games for Monaco this season, Disasi racked up three goals and three assists. During those outings he has averaged 0.8 tackles, 1.5 interceptions, 2.9 clearances and 2.6 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).

The France international is a good passer of the football as well. In 38 Ligue 1 games for Monaco this term, he made 50.5 passes on average per match and recorded an average completion rate of 83.8% (Who Scored).
It is alleged that Monaco want around €50 million (£43 million) for the French ace.
AS Monaco’s official website have described the centre-back as a ‘sublime’ player, and they’re not wrong.
Unfortunately for West Ham though, it seems like Manchester United are in pole position to win the race for Axel Disasi this summer.
