Premier League duo West Ham and Everton are set for a summer transfer window battle to sign striker Boulaye Dia.
According to a report from Corriere dello Sport (print edition March 30th, page 25), Villarreal-owned forward Boulaye Dia is on the radars of both West Ham United and Everton ahead of the summer transfer window.

It is suggested that West Ham and the Toffees will have to pay around €20 million (£17 million) to the bring him to the Premier League.

Hammers boss David Moyes will desperately need to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer, and the same can be said for Sean Dyche at Goodison Park.
Dia is currently on loan with Salernitana and the Italians have an option to sign him permanently from Villarreal in the summer. However, it is looking like they plan to take up that option, before selling him on for a quick profit…
Premier League duo West Ham and Everton battle for Boulaye Dia
Now, if the Hammers are to have any chance whatsoever of beating the Toffees to the 26-year-old’s signature this summer, we need to avoid the drop.
The same can be said of Everton in fairness, but they are currently sitting in 15th spot in the table, two points ahead of West Ham.
Corriere dello Sport reckon that both clubs are chasing Boulaye Dia. Salernitana plan to activate their option to buy the Senegal international from Villarreal before selling him on again for around £17 million.

That’s decent value for the powerful forward in my opinion.
He has bagged 10 goals and four assists in 24 Serie A games for Salernitana so far this season (Transfermarkt).
Boulaye Dia is very strong and runs the channels much like Michail Antonio does. It’s little wonder why Moyes is a fan of the Senegal international.
However, if West Ham are to beat Everton to his signature in the summer transfer window, Premier League survival is an absolute must.
