James Ward-Prowse has opened up on just how much of a fan he is of one of West Ham United’s summer signings.

James Ward-Prowse joined West Ham from Southampton in the summer transfer window for around £30 million (Sky Sports).

The 29-year-old was not the only new arrival at the London Stadium though, far from it in fact, with four new players coming into the club in total.

Hammers boss David Moyes brought in three big name signings in addition to Ward-Prowse – Mohammed Kudus, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Edson Alvarez.

Whilst all four signings have impressed at different times, the best of the bunch has been Kudus. What a superb player the 23-year-old is – I have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure I’m not dreaming that we signed him!

And Ward-Prowse has offered huge words of praise for the Ghanaian star…

James Ward-Prowse blown away by West Ham teammate

The Hammers midfielder has been speaking on the ‘Iron Cast‘ about the current goings on at the London Stadium.

And Ward-Prowse responded when asked about one of his fellow summer signings Mohammed Kudus:

“What’s amazing me about him is his strength as well, I think people don’t see it. The amount of times he’ll take the ball with someone behind him, he’ll shrug them off and run away, you can’t get near him at times. He’s warmed up nicely and I think now you’re seeing the real Kudus I think, he’s putting in some really good performances.”

The thing is, I think the fans do realise just how strong Kudus is – he brushes defenders off with ease when he’s in possession of the football.

The Ghana international will go on to become a huge player for the Hammers, I have absolutely no doubts in my mind about that.

Kudus has absolutely everything. He’s strong, has pace in abundance, possesses exceptional technical ability and is clinical in front of goal. He has five goals to his name for the Hammers already in just 13 games so far this season.

James Ward-Prowse has clearly been hugely impressed by his West Ham teammate so far this term, and I have no doubts that he’ll keep on getting better and better with every week that passes.
