Pablo Fornals has just completely dispelled the myth that the West Ham United fans have played a part in our struggles this season.
West Ham have really struggled this season, and we are currently sitting just one place outside the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

Hammers boss David Moyes is under intense pressure at the London Stadium, and rightly so, considering our poor domestic form this season.
Strangely, the West Ham fans have got some of the blame for the team’s struggles this season.
The likes of the Daily Mail suggested that the London Stadium faithful were unfair to boo the team after the Aston Villa game.
And even David Moyes has fired shots at the club’s fans at different times this season.
However, one Hammers player has stuck up for the fans…

Throughout Covid, when the Hammers were doing really well, there were pundits who suggested that the reason we were excelling was because there were no fans inside the London Stadium.
That rubbish was quickly put to bed when we secured a top seven finish in the 2021/22 season, and enjoyed a wonderful Europa League campaign, with home fans allowed back into stadiums.
And now Pablo Fornals has highlighted just how well supported West Ham are, when speaking to WHUFC.com:
“We want to try and give the fans the support they are giving us and make more memories in Europe like last year. The mood in the camp is good at the moment and we are focused on what needs to be done. We are trying to keep the good vibes and the positivity for each game because it is the best way to approach the game.”
So there you have it. The players understand how well the club is supported by the fans.
Sure, the London Stadium doesn’t always generate the best atmosphere. In my opinion though, the main reason for that is the simple fact that it is not designed as a football ground.
The sooner we take full control of the stadium and mould it into what we want it to become the better in my opinion.
It’s just nice to hear Pablo Fornals highlight how much the West Ham players value our support.
