David Moyes has aimed another back-handed dig at the West Ham United fans when asked about the boos after the Aston Villa draw.
West Ham drew 1-1 with Villa at the London Stadium yesterday afternoon and it was a really disappointing result in the end.

It really was a must-win game for the Hammers – Moyes would have known that and so would the fans. With relegation down from the Premier League now looking like a very real prospect, tensions are running high in East London.

Moyes has performed really badly in his role as manager this season. He was far too relaxed about our poor form in pre-season and then at the start of the Premier League campaign.
He had a kind of arrogance in his belief that things would just come good and the results would begin to improve. They didn’t, and now we’re in real trouble.
Quite how Moyes is still in a job really is bizarre considering our current plight. He recently started sniping at the fans as well. We all know how that ends don’t we.
The Scot seemingly hasn’t learnt his lesson though, and continues to prod at one of the most loyal fanbases in world football…
David Moyes takes another dig at the West Ham fans
The Scot addressed the media after yesterday’s disappointing 1-1 draw against Aston Villa at the London Stadium.
And Moyes responded when asked if the boos at full-time were justified or not, as quoted by Football.London:

“We’ve had brilliant support over the last couple of years but I can understand we’re not doing as well as people would hope or would like. I thought today’s performance merited really good support, because the players came back from Thursday night, long flight back from Cyrpus, played there and went out and performed well today. We went a goal down and I didn’t think we really deserved to go a goal down, I don’t think we’d done an awful lot wrong in the opening period and we found ourselves a goal down. But the players showed a lot of character, stuck at it, everyone ran and was committed throughout the game. They deserve a lot of praise, the players, for what they’ve done, they’ve been away and they’ve got something out of today’s game. Just a bit more quality at the death might have just got us something more.”
Moyes really has to stop doing this. What does he mean brilliant support over the last couple of years? West Ham fans have stuck with our team through thick and thin since the club was formed!
We haven’t won a trophy since 1980, have experienced three relegations over the past 32 years and have only had a few top seven finishes to enjoy.
We’re not spoilt like certain fanbases are, yet we turn up week in, week out to support our team. Moyes needs to realise that quickly if he is to have any chance whatsoever of repairing his fractured relationship with the Hammers faithful.
On top of all of that, I just feel like Moyes is actually deluded. What does he mean by suggesting that his side didn’t do an awful lot wrong before going 1-0 down? We were terrible and looked so vulnerable in defence, especially on the right hand side.
The Scot needs to wake up and smell the coffee. West Ham are in real trouble at the moment, and it’s time for the excuses to stop.
Moyes would do himself a huge favour if he stopped taking these sly digs at the West Ham fans, that’s for sure.
