David Moyes must bring Vladimir Coufal and Flynn Downes into the West Ham United team in place of Thilo Kehrer and Tomas Soucek as soon as possible.
West Ham are in real trouble at the moment, and are currently sitting just one place outside the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

Moyes has to make some ruthless decisions for our next game against Southampton in just under three weeks time.

West Ham haven’t been at the races this season, and Moyes has received plenty of criticism – deservedly so.
The players need to take some blame as well, the majority of them just haven’t been good enough. Two of them in particular shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting XI between now and the end of the season as far as I’m concerned…
David Moyes must make some ruthless West Ham starting XI decisions
Thilo Kehrer was signed for around £10 million in the summer from Paris Saint-Germain (The Sun) whilst Tomas Soucek was brought in on a permanent deal from Slavia Prague in 2020 for £15 million (Daily Mail).
In my opinion, the 26-year-old defender and the 28-year-old midfielder have been two of our worst players this season, alongside Ben Johnson.
The Germany and Czech Republic internationals have both been really poor, there really is no kinder way of putting it. And if Moyes continues to use them both, we might just be in real trouble come the end of May.
West Ham need Vladimir Coufal and Flynn Downes in the team instead of Kehrer and Soucek.
Now, Coufal is currently struggling with a heel injury, but it is not thought to be serious. We don’t have a Premier League game to play until April 2nd either, so Vlad should be back for the clash with Southampton at the London Stadium.
The 30-year-old has struggled himself for form but he rediscovered some of his best stuff just before he succumbed to injury a couple of weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Downes has looked absolutely brilliant very single time he has taken to the pitch in a Hammers shirt.
The 24-year-old is streets ahead of Soucek when it comes to receiving the ball on the half-turn and making crisp, incisive passes.
West Ham just seem to be so much of a better footballing side to me when David Moyes starts Downes over Soucek.
It’s time for a big change after the international break in the Premier League but the question remains: Will Moyes stick or twist with his favourites?
In my view, having Downes and Coufal back in the team in place of Kehrer and Soucek will give us the best possible chance of avoiding relegation this season.
