Michail Antonio has suggested that Joe Gomez is a ‘joke’ ahead of the Liverpool vs West Ham clash, and labelled the defender as ‘unbelievable’.
West Ham travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool tonight, and Michail Antonio will be hoping to help his side take a positive result back with them to the London Stadium.
If we are to have any chance whatsoever of winning at Anfield, David Moyes needs to set his team up with the intention and ambition to win.

The Reds are very solid at the back, so the Hammers attackers will have to be at their very best, if we are to spring a surprise on Merseyside.
And Michail Antonio has warned his West Ham teammates about one Liverpool player in particular…
Michail Antonio raves about Joe Gomez ahead of Liverpool vs West Ham
The 32-year-old Hammers striker has been playing second fiddle to Gianluca Scamacca recently.
He will be hoping to get some real game-time tonight though, having been suffering with an illness over the past week or so.
If he is given a run-out by Moyes, he will be in for a tough night against whichever backline Jurgen Klopp selects.
And Michail Antonio told The Footballer’s Football Podcast just how highly he rates Liverpool defender Joe Gomez:
Gomez was unbelievable. He was a joke. You can’t just put it out there and say VVD, you have to give Gomez a shout as well. They had him (Haaland). There were so many times where balls were put in the box, but they were just there constantly with him. There was a couple of times you thought he was going to get a tap in, but they were just there constantly. Those two played so well. They shut him out.

Signed from Charlton Athletic for just £3.5 million back in 2015 (Telegraph), Gomez has proven to be excellent value for money.
The 25-year-old has suffered plenty of injury problems since joining Liverpool, but when he has been fit, he’s been a key member of Klopp’s side.
Gomez’s performance at Anfield against Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was truly incredible.
And it highlighted just how much Michail Antonio and his teammates will have their work cut-out tonight against Liverpool.
