West Ham won’t have a better chance to win at Anfield after news of a huge Liverpool triple injury blow filtered through today.
Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz left the Emirates on crutches last week and will be out injured until after the World Cup (The Athletic).
Meanwhile, the Reds have been dealt yet another big blow today.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip have been ruled out for around two weeks according to The Athletic’s Liverpool correspondent James Pearce, meaning that the duo will be unavailable for the game against West Ham at Anfield next week.

The Reds seem to be in a real crisis at the moment and are actually sitting on the same amount of points as West Ham.
Jurgen Klopp is under real pressure after a terrible run of form has seen his side drop down into mid-table. And the Hammers should be looking to take advantage of that next Wednesday…

The Athletic’s Liverpool correspondent James Pearce has claimed that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip have joined Luis Diaz on the sidelines though injury.
Jurgen Klopp is already without the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones and Naby Keita.
West Ham might just have a big chance to cause what would be a huge upset next week.
The Hammers are currently experiencing somewhat of a renaissance, having made a woeful start to the 2022/23 campaign.
David Moyes’s men have won their last three games, with two of those coming in the Premier League.

The real test begins now though.
We have Anderlecht at home in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night, and a win will guarantee us top spot in the group.
Then West Ham face consecutive away games against Southampton and Liverpool on Sunday and Wednesday respectively.
Those two games may well define our Premier League season.
A win against the Saints and any kind of result against the Reds will set us up perfectly for the final few weeks of games before the World Cup.
