Ian Wright has absolutely savaged one West Ham United player after the unacceptable 4-0 defeat to Brighton on Saturday.
The Hammers were beaten soundly by Brighton and the gulf in class between the two sides was incredibly painful to witness.

David Moyes has a huge task on his hands, if he is to keep his West Ham side in the Premier League this season.

The real concern is that we currently look like a team bereft of ideas, confidence and any kind of real quality.
One worry in particular is Ben Johnson who has been off the charts bad this season, whenever he has played…
Ian Wright absolutely savages one West Ham player
The 23-year-old Hammers full-back has been the target of heavy criticism over the past few months.
And Ian Wright is the latest pundit to pile in on Johnson.
Wright told Premier League Productions (06/03/23 at 2:55 pm):

“You look at one of the goals. I think Ben Johnson is at the back. For a defender to be at the back post and not be aware of what’s around him is a massive mistake and something that can be fixed, easily. Take the mistakes out and say ‘look at the mistakes we are making. We are losing games because of this’.”
Ian Wright is absolutely spot on about West Ham man Ben Johnson.
The 23-year-old quite simply shouldn’t be making mistakes like the ones he did against Brighton at this level.
In my opinion, Johnson is not good enough to be playing Premier League football.
If David Moyes persists with him at right-back, we could be in real trouble come the end of the season.
And the comments from Ian Wright on the 23-year-old West Ham defender highlight just how out of his depth he is at the very highest level.
