Hammers coach Mark Robson has just absolutely raved about one West Ham United player in particular.
West Ham coach Mark Robson was promoted from his role in charge of the talented bunch of under-21s in the summer.
The former Hammers player has been working alongside the manager David Moyes with the first-team this season.
And he has seemingly been hugely impressed with one West Ham player in particular.
We have so many talented footballers at the club now, including the likes of Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez and many, many more.
However, Robson has chosen one player who has really shocked him with his quality…
Mark Robson stunned by one West Ham player
The Hammers is coach is clearly a huge fan of 26-year-old star Paqueta.
And when speaking on the official West Ham podcast, Robson absolutely raved about the Brazilian star:
“He’s different class, he blows your mind at times. He’s not coachable! He’s a real flair player and he’s probably the first to say that he’s probably given it away too cheaply. But the times he gives it away too cheaply, there are other times when he’s your best creator and he creates things out of nothing and some of the things he does are scary. I love watching him, I love working with him, I love watching him training, I love watching him play. If you look at him he has a right go, yeah there’s a time when he can’t get there because he’s maybe out of position, but actually his work ethic has been superb.”
I totally get what Robson means – Paqueta is so good that he pretty much just does his own thing!
The Brazilian does things that makes my jaw drop at times. And yes sure, he does give the ball away unnecessarily at times.
However, he more than makes up for that with his sheer brilliance. Paqueta has won us points single handedly at times this season, and long may that continue.
Mark Robson is obviously a massive fan of the West Ham star, as is everyone else at the London Stadium.
