West Ham United have been handed a major boost to our hopes of signing Manchester United star Jadon Sancho.
Manchester United are apparently prepared to go to extreme lengths in order to get rid of West Ham target Jadon Sancho.
Hammers boss David Moyes is believed to be lining up a loan move to sign the 23-year-old Man United winger in the January transfer window.
The former Borussia Dortmund man was touted for a move to the London Stadium last summer, right here on Hammers News.
Sancho has been banished from first team training following his public rift with Erik ten Hag, and is still refusing to apologise to the Dutchman – something that is needed for him to be involved with the team again (ESPN).
One thing that’s abundantly clear is the fact that Sancho has no future at Old Trafford. And now Man United could be set to swing the door wide open for West Ham…

Manchester United could terminate Sancho contract
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United could be willing to terminate Sancho’s deal, as part of a new, more ruthless approach to player contracts.
And if that happens, the Hammers may well have a chance to bring him to the London Stadium.
One of the big problems surrounding Sancho potentially joining West Ham is his massive salary – £300k-a-week no less (ESPN).
However, if his contract is indeed terminated by the Red Devils, the Hammers will surely then be capable of signing him.
Despite his struggles at Old Trafford, we all know what he’s capable of – the 50 goals and 64 assists that he racked up in 137 games for Borussia Dortmund is evidence of his quality (Transfermarkt).
On his day, the former Manchester City academy graduate can be truly unplayable, it’s just such a shame to see what has happened to him at Old Trafford over the past few months.
The most important thing for him now will be to get his career back on track with a move away from the 20-time league winners in January.
And if Manchester United do indeed terminate the contract of Sancho, West Ham will definitely then have a good chance to bring the 23-year-old to East London. I genuinely think the player would flourish with the Hammers.
It remains to be seen whether Man United pull the trigger on terminating his deal though. If they don’t I think it will be incredibly hard for them to shift him.
