Major claim from Brazil national team is seriously bad news for West Ham and their reported David Moyes succession plan.
Last week a source close to West Ham majority owner David Sullivan hit out at claims being made about the situation surrounding David Moyes and his future.
Speculation continues to swirl as to whether the Scot will remain with the Hammers beyond this season.
Hammers News spoke to the top source inside West Ham about Moyes’ situation recently.
And the contact emphatically denied Moyes will be sacked labelling such talk ‘rubbish’.

But that does not change the fact the Scot is in the last year of his Hammers contract.
In the main, West Ham do not tend to discuss manager contracts until the new year.
Reports, though, have claimed Moyes is unlikely to see his contract extended with technical director Tim Steidten already assessing replacements.
One manager we know it won’t be is Reims’ Hammers fanatic boss Will Still. That has been ruled out – anytime in the near future at least – by Sullivan himself.
It was claimed by a source inside West Ham last month that Steidten’s appointment could see the German help West Ham replace Moyes with Bayer Leverkusen boss Alonso next summer.
West Ham have been heavily linked with Alonso since the German’s arrival at West Ham – as reported here on Hammers News.

We reported that West Ham will have to pay a £13m get out clause to bring the man Steidten appointed at Leverkusen to east London.
Alonso showed West Ham what might be if the Moyes succession plan involving the Spaniard is true.
His side played the Hammers off the park in a thumping pre-season win.
But rumours have suggested Alonso’s buy out clause is specifically designed for one of his three former clubs – Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Liverpool.
Football Transfers recently hinted that Alonso’s rumoured next destination will be Real Madrid to replace Carlo Ancelotti should he leave in the summer.
So a major claim from the Brazil national team is seriously bad news for West Ham and their reported Moyes succession plan.

Ancelotti – like Moyes at West Ham – is out of contract at the end of the season.
There have been rumours the Spanish giants might offer him an extension until 2026, which would be good news for any Hammers hopes of landing Alonso.
But Sport and Football Espana are reporting a source from within the Brazil national team has claimed Ancelotti has ‘signed a contract’ to become Brazil boss in the summer, saying: ‘Everything is calm, there is no risk of anything changing’.
That would would give West Ham the impossible task of competing with Real Madrid for Alonso.
And that could even potentially dictate that West Ham end up offering Moyes a new deal if they can’t bring in Steidten’s alleged first choice in light of a lack of credible alternatives.
