Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has named West Ham United forward Michail Antonio as his toughest opponent in the Premier League.
The 32-year-old West Ham striker has come face to face with Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson countless times over the past five years.

Antonio has struggled against the Brazilian stopper though, with just one goal in seven meetings with the ex-Roma star.

The 30-year-old Liverpool man is widely considered to be the best goalkeeper in world football.
So whatever he says must be taken very seriously indeed. The South American’s latest claim might raise a few eyebrows in East London though…
Alisson makes bold Michail Antonio claim
The Liverpool ace was speaking to the PFA about the toughest opponents he has faced in the Premier League.
And his answer might well surprise a lot of people:
“I would say, he is really annoying, Michail Antonio. The guy is too strong, set-pieces are hard against him.”

Antonio is renowned for his strength, but the fact that Alisson selected him as his toughest opponent really has shocked me!
The Jamaica international’s form has nosedived over the past 12 months or so, and he really isn’t the same player that he once was.
However, if Alisson has spoken that highly of Michail Antonio, it means that he still does of lot of good things that go unnoticed, and perhaps he doesn’t really get the credit that he deserves for that.
Hopefully we see the best of Antonio between now and the end of the season, and he can cause Alisson all sorts of problems when Liverpool visit the London Stadium at the end of April.
