Ibrahim Osman to West Ham twist as report makes fresh claim

West Ham United are reportedly confident of getting a deal done for Nordsjaelland youngster Ibrahim Osman in the January window.

Ibrahim Osman has emerged as a transfer target for West Ham in recent weeks, but a top source inside the London Stadium confirmed to Hammers News that the Danish side had rejected our first bid for the winger.

Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium before the January transfer window slams shut.

Osman, 19, would be a real ‘left field’ signing from West Ham, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be an exciting addition.

The Ghanaian ace has bundles of potential, blistering pace and plays with a real fearless attitude that we sometimes lack.

Now it seems like a move to the Hammers from Nordsjaelland could well be on for him this winter…

Ibrahim Osman to West Ham twist as report makes fresh claim

Daily Mirror journalist Ryan Taylor claims that the Hammers are confident of wrapping up a deal for the teenager before next week’s transfer deadline.

I will be hugely excited if Moyes manages to bring the Nordsjaelland attacker to the London Stadium this month.

Osman can play anywhere along the front-line and is a truly frightening player when he’s in full flight.

As mentioned earlier, he possesses explosive pace and would provide us with a real unknown quantity – something that we lack at times given how one-dimensional our play can be.

That said, let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. He is 19 after all, so if we do sign him, patience will be needed, and we can’t expect too much too soon from him.

However, I strongly feel that if West Ham sign Ibrahim Osman for anywhere near £15 million this month, we will have secured a real coup.
