David Moyes has performed terribly in his role as West Ham manager this season. He has failed to evolve and his team have become stale and predictable to play against as a result.

Another reason for our poor form this season has been the amount of players who have lost form for a sustained period of time.

One of those players has been Vladimir Coufal, although he has improved over the past couple of months. And the Czech right-back has been making some honest admissions whilst on international duty…

Vladimir Coufal makes honest admission about West Ham boss David Moyes

There have been some explosive soundbites that have emerged from the 30-year-old’s interview with Sport.cz.

However, perhaps the most damning for Moyes was Coufal’s claim that the Scot is the most pragmatic manager he has ever known:

“Pure pragmatist. The end justifies the means. I have probably never seen such an orthodox pragmatist, when he has results at the expense of everything, maybe sometimes even the game. There is a lot of pressure on him and he is putting pressure on us as well.”

Wow.

I know that some things get lost in translation but that’s about as clear as anyone can be.

We all know how negative and pragmatic Moyes’s approach to the game is, and it has cost us in my opinion this season, especially with the quality of players he has at his disposal.

If West Ham are to make genuine progress in the next few years, David Moyes needs to be moved on in my opinion.
